A MAN who shed an incredible 310 lbs after becoming morbidly obese has had 13 lbs of loose skin removed in a life-changing procedure. At one point, John Allaire was so morbidly obese he wore 8XL shirts and had to be weighed on a commercial scale at a fish market, as standard scales would not hold his weight. But after joining a fitness programme and dropping from 540 pounds to a lean 230 lbs, the 27-year-old was left with severe excess skin. John underwent skin removal surgery in March which saw the bulk of the loose skin on his torso and arms removed – but will require further surgery in the future to remove the skin on his lower body.

This weeks video is a two part episode on how to lose belly fat and weight. This episode will be focusing on exercises anyone can do at home to lose weight and belly fat, the first episode was on dietary advice. I’ve received a lot of messages and comments to make a video on this topic and now it’s finally ready. I really hope my tips help you and always remember you’re awesome!

WHAT IS BELLY FAT:
You see the problem is that fat, isn’t just the inch you can pinch known as subcutaneous fat the real danger is the fat that’s in your abdomen and surrounding your internal organs known as visceral fat. Studies have shown visceral fat puts us at higher risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes and in women it’s even shown to increase the risk of breast cancer.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THESE EXERCISES AND WEIGHT LOSS:
If done correctly after 6 weeks the study showed a loss of just over 2cm around the waist of the participants which is great and you can do this without any diet change and see a difference.

Losing body fat is easy to do if you know how to use fatty acids as the energy source to keep you moving. Cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning is the best way to lose body fat.

Good things happen when you have a low body fat percentage: you look better, you feel better, and you’re healthier. But there’s information overload about how to reduce body fat. Alpha is stepping in and throwing his fitness hat in the ring. He’s offering his advice as he’s been around the fitness and weight loss block a time or two. He’s been an owner fitness centers and a nutrition store.

The number one way to reduce your body fat the fastest, easiest, and safest is doing cardio 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Doing it for 30-minutes first thing in the morning is the same as an hour-and-half later in the day. The body dips into your fat stores as the energy to keep going. You have to do the cardio in your target zone:

220 – your age = number
That number is multiplied by .6 as well as by .75

Those two numbers are your lower and upper range. You will be using nothing but fatty acids to keep going in that zone. You don’t have to go the gym. You can walk around the neighborhood or jog in place. Simply get your heart rate in that zone.

There’s so much information out there that is rogue science. Alpha also discusses ‘muscle memory’. He reiterates that muscle doesn’t disappear from missing meals. Muscle is not a ‘precious snowflake. Try this method for two weeks with consecutive sessions. You will see the results.
