The Norwood Scale consists of seven images which show seven stages of male pattern baldness. Doctors have been known to use the scale to determine how advanced hair loss is and how to therefore treat it. The higher the stage on the scale, the more severe the hair loss.

Do you worry about hair loss?
So the guy talking looks like he is a stage 2
my hair is not receding, its just breaking, at some point it was really full and in about 2 weeks it has reduced by almost half from all over is this baldness and should i be worried. again no receding just breaking
My uncle and grandfather on my mothers side got to stage 4 in their early/mid 30s and then their hair loss stopped almost completely, which should not be possible according to google… I recently saw my uncle (55) and his hair looks exactly the same as when he was 35… no transplants, no pills…

Stage 1, but my top hair is pretty thin. Most times I just let my hair grow out to cover those spots.

I have reached the cue ball stage.
I’m 21 going on 22. I Got a real short buzzed haircut recently and noticed my hairline was further in than it used to be. I’m not surprised if I start balding in the next year or so. My dad lost a lot of his hair at my age. Genetics I’m afraid.

TY for helping and trying, your a good dude no matter the negative comments.. I'm 31 my own stage its just all thin on top ..no balding yet. Slowing fading ..I'm of Irish Scottish decent allegedly..smoked for 15 years abused pills for 10 been clean 4 years …Praise Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . quit smoking almost 3 months. And more thing to add ….FORTNITE is worst than crack… Ive just come to The realization that DRUGS are BAD BUT FORTNITE'$ taking my hair ?… the STRESS and RAGE….yes you know..or I'm just crazy and maybe it really was that BOSLEY commercial I made fun of…"LOOK , ITS MY HAIR, I DO WHAT I WANT WIT IT , ITS MINE!"….???
